My Journey
I was a creative child who was determined to find a career that took advantage of my skill set as well as my passion for helping others. My journey began in special education, where I had the privilege of designing and developing curriculum to support learners’ unique needs.
As a special education teacher, I witnessed the positive impact that tailored learning experiences could have on learners. I was successful at targeting learning gaps. Soon, I was designing and developing instructor-led trainings to grow staff within my district.
I loved it.
Analyzing gaps for our staff, designing, and developing trainings ignited a desire to explore how to push myself further to help others. I wanted to grow my knowledge and skills, so I enrolled in Applied Instructional Design Academy (A.I.D.A.). Through this 9 month program, I learned the I.D. process, best e-learning practices, and Articulate 360.
My journey reflects my ability to continuously learn, help others gain new skills, and utilize my creativity for engagement. I am thrilled to contribute my skills and passion to create learning environments that empower individuals and improve efficiency in businesses.
